new version of eMaxMobileApp 1.57 for iOS and Android released

The latest eMaxMobileApp version 1.57 is ready for download in Apple AppStore and Google PlayStore.

With this version of eMaxMobileApp it is possible to access and modify also the latest motor firmware versions of DU-EP800 (EP8) (FW.: 4.1.9), DU-E50X0 (FW.: 4.4.8), DU-E61X0 (FW.: 4.7.5), DU-E7000 (FW.: 4.7.5), DU-E80X0 (4.9.4) from Shimano, but only in a LIMITED way.

TAKE CARE: Although this version of eMaxMobileApp is partially compatible with all the latest motor firmware versions of all drive units, it is NOT possible to change bike settings in order to increase max. motor support speed via Bluetooth! Also some of the light related functionality is not or only partially available with the newest firmware versions from Shimano.

If you want to speed up your bike with the latest motor firmware versions or need special light functionality, you can use the latest version of our Windows based miniMax program in combination with a PCE interface or you can downgrade to a previous motor firmware (see documents in the support section).

Today we have released the new version 2.29 of our Windows based miniMax program.

Additionally to the already supported drive – units and firmware versions this version now supports the newly released motor firmware versions:

4.7.5 for the DU-E6000, DU-E6110, DU-E6100-CRG and DU-E6180 drive units

4.7.5 for the DU-E7000 drive units

4.9.4 for the DU-E8000 and DU-E8080 drive units

4.1.9 for the DU-EP800 (EP8), DU-EP800-RS (EP8-RS) and DU-EP800-CRG drive units

This version fixes a bug which occured on bikes with very large chainring sizes (>52 teeth).

Today we have released the new version 2.26 of our Windows based miniMax program.

In this version new battery types for the Shimano STePS system have been added and the exact battery type will now be shown in the lower status row also for these types.

new version 2.25 of miniMax released

Today we have released the new version 2.25 of our Windows based miniMax program.

In this version the possibility to change the display speed adjustment as well as the motor mounting angle was added.

Additionally the min. value for the max. torque range (only relevant for the E-Tube-Project software) has been added.

Also, now all paramters which have been changed but not already programmed to the bike will be indicated in red color.

Some improvements for EP8 motor firmware versions 4.0.0 – 4.0.2 have been added too.

new version 2.24 of miniMax released

Today we have released the new version 2.24 of our Windows based miniMax program.

In this version the new EP8-CRG version of the EP8 which is used mainly on cargo bikes will be indicated clearly in the lower status line if this version of the drive unit is detected on the connected bike.

Please don´t downgrade this EP8-CRG drive unit to motor firmware 4.0.2!

Optimizing this EP8-CRG drive unit (e.g. changing destination country or wheel circumference) is easily possible with miniMax and the newer motor firmware versions 4.1.1 – 4.1.8.

new version 2.23 of miniMax released

Today we have released the new version 2.23 of our Windows based miniMax program.

This version allows to configure all possible gear mode combinations (chain based derailleur, chain based hub, belt drive hub in mechanical or electronical way [Di2]) as well as all combinations of chainrings and rear cassettes on all Shimano STePS drive units.
