With this version it is still only possible to modify the latest motor firmware versions from Shimano in a VERY LIMITED way (see very below).

„special settings” is now available also for the new DUEP800 drive unit (this is especially useful if you want to change the derailleur type from mechanical to electronical). Also the new BT-E8036 battery is added.

TAKE CARE: With the newest motor firmware versions and the current eMaxMobileApp version it is NOT possible to change settings for increasing max. motor support speed!

If you want to speed up your bike with the latest motor firmware versions, you can use the latest version of our Windows based miniMax program or you can downgrade to a previous motor firmware.

On Oct. 22 and Nov. 04, 2020 Shimano has released new firmware versions for these drive units: DUE50X0 (4.4.2) and DUEP800 (4.1.1). We have released our Windows based miniMax program version 2.02 which is capable of modifying a bike with the newest firmware according to the USA – modification as well as according to the wheel – circumference – modification (down to its min. value of 1300mm). However, currently it is not possible to process these modifications with our eMaxMobileApp. So please do not update to the newest motor firmware if you intend to optimize your bike via Bluetooth.

With this program versions it is possible to modify also the new EP8 drive unit according to the US – modification and wheel circumference – modification.

With version 1.32 of eMaxMobileApp users with a DUE7000 drive unit now can access the licence free functions “motor parameter settings” and “special settings” too.
