On Oct. 13, 2020 Shimano has released new firmware versions for these drive units: DUE61X0 (4.6.0), DUE7000 (4.6.0) and DUE80X0 (4.9.0). We have released our Windows based miniMax program version 2.01 which is capable of modifying a bike with the newest firmware according to the USA – modification as well as according to the wheel – circumference – modification (down to its min. value of 1300mm). However, currently it is not possible to process these modifications with our eMaxMobileApp. So please do not update to the newest motor firmware if you intend to optimize your bike via Bluetooth.

With eMaxMobileApp 1.30 now modifications to increase motor support speed are also possible for DUE5xxx, DUE6xxx and DUE7xxx drive units. For sure DUE8xxxx drive units are supported too.

All Bluetooth capable displays types (SCE8000, SCE7000, SCE6100 & EWEN100) are supported.

All our programs and apps currently are tested thoroughly with STEP8000 systems. Please do not use them with any other system!

motor firmware 4.5.1 – 4.7.1: you could use miniMax or eMaxMobileApp to switch to the US version to increase max. motor support speed (20mph / 32km/h) with correct values on the bike display

motor firmware 4.5.1 – 4.7.1: you could use miniMax or eMaxMobileApp to modify the wheel circumference to increase max. motor support speed (results in non – correct values for speed and distance on the bike display)

motor firmware 4.3.4 – 4.4.5: you could use eMax or eMaxMobileApp to modify the wheel circumference to increase max. motor support speed (results in non – correct values for speed and distance on the bike display)

motor firmware 4.2.7 – 4.3.2: you could use eMax or eMaxMobileApp to modify individually the Eco, Trail and Boost mode to increase max. motor support speed up to 60km/h with correct values on the bike display
